Evening, the days are getting to that point where they are all starting to merge together. All becoming one and what I thought would be a simple task of staying in, stop the spreading and relax. Is quickly becoming a task of, how many times can I clean the flat, who cares if I brush my teeth? And is a skirmish to lidil to buy their brownies justifiable?
Yes, their brownies are considered essential shopping.
But lets halt, to stop myself climbing the walls, I thought I would dive myself into overdue reviews.

Erin Ponsonby released the single, Love Like The Movies on the 27th of March.
The single takes discusses the idea of finding romance like we see in the movies. And not how we find it in the modern day times of swiping and forgetting all hopes of chivalry.
Love like the movies is a light weight, up beat acoustic ballad and is cherish-able. It uses traditional arrangements of acoustic guitar, drums, bass and backing vocals. It could be closely referenced to such artist as Taylor Swift and Lisa Hannigan.
Its lyrical structure follows the same story ark as a movie too. Beginning with fantasying about meeting someone, then in the second verse, going on dates such as having picnic and getting drunk at a bar.
Ponsonby released her first single, Want Me Too back in 2017 but has kept herself busy by gigging in Scotland’s hotspots- King Tuts Was Hut and The Barrowlands. Along with this, she gigged extensively with Into The Ark backed by the promoters DF concerts.

Teaching herself guitar, Ponsonby uses music as her outlet to tell her stories of love, lust and heartbreak.
Love Like The Movies is available on all streaming platforms and as always like, follow and keep updated with her social media for future releases. If I noticed correctly, she has a string of COVID-CONNECTIONS gigs on Facebook.
Ok, I’m going back to fight the temptation for the need of lidil brownies.
Until next time!
